Founded in 2008 in US, Brooklyn by husband-and-wife team David Seth Moltz (a.k.a D.S.) a self-taught perfumer and his Wife Kavi Ahuja Moltzare (a.k.a. Durga, which means Hindu Goddess, named by Seth upon their first meet).

David, a musician by trade who always had a passion for perfumes, and his Wife Kavi an architect, decided to marry his sense for romance and her eyes for design to create a unisex perfume house based in Brooklyn, New York.
