Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti founded the Maison Valentino in 1960, in Rome, Italy. The first Valentino perfume was created in 1979,
it was first marketed in a restricted manner, and finally re-launched in 1986.
"The Anatomy of Dreams" collection of Haute Couture fragrances inspired by the essence of Rome was released in July 2024.
